Michelotti-designed saloon based around the BMC ADO16, with shared doors and windscreen, and rear lights and outer parts of the bumper from the [[Triumph Mk II]]. Leykor saw the Apache as a way to keep the ADO16 fresh for the 1970s, especially as other mid-sized cars had grown—the longer boot gave the impression of a larger car. Good initial reports, and a convincing refresh. TC model (though not actually twin cam) with 75 PS added in 1973.
