From AutocadeAlfa Romeo Giulia (tipo 105). 1962–77 (prod. 572,646). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 1290, 1570 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1760 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV). Very light and aerodynamic (Cd 0,34) small saloon with powerful DOHC units, though a 55 PS diesel was added in 1976, the first Alfa Romeo to have such an engine. Débuted at Monza in 1962; 1300, with single headlamps, added in 1964 (though the 1972 South African Rallye model had singles along with 1·6). Changes throughout the run, though final models were mechanically similar to the first ones.
