OHC), 1595 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). CR-X reinvented for the 1990s with steel hardtop electrically retracting into boot. Lesser models with lighter aluminium roof, removable manually. Poor cargo room thanks to the configuration. Mid-term revisions 1995. A belief that CR-X conflicted with the Civic coupé saw to its deletion in 1997. Good acceleration from VTEC models and an able handler, thanks to double-wishbone suspension all round. Very good fuel economy thanks to Civic basis; however, CR-X suffered from noise. Not directly replaced till CR-Z in 2010.
Marque: Honda | Model: Honda CR-X | Predecessor: Honda CR-X (EF6) | Successor: Honda CR-Z
