F/R, 3751 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4093 cm³ (I6 OHV), 4387, 5001, 5714 cm³ petrol, 5737 cm³ diesel (V8 OHV). Final car to wear the Bel Air nameplate, exclusive to Canada. Downsized from 1971–6 without much reduction in interior space. More basic than Impala. Revised sheetmetal for 1980, but sales dropped, and the line was cancelled, with Impala and Caprice covering the full-size segment.
