Minica joins the rest of Mitsubishi’s revolution and switches to front-wheel drive, five-door launched first as a departure to previous Minicas. Turbo models gained an intercooler, a first for the kei class, and front disc brakes. Three-door from 1985. Limited editions released in 1985–7. Canvas top model from 1986. G23B twin replaced with 3G81 three-cylinder engine in 1987.
