Brazilian and Indian production from 2007 and 2009 respectively, a simpler car more related to the Palio in terms of suspension geometry, and much cheaper interior materials, despite similar exterior looks to Fiat Grande Punto. Brazilian models equipped at top end from 2011 with 1598 and 1747 cm³ E-Torq engines (the latter badged 1·8), developments of the Tritec units that powered the Mini and Chrysler PT Cruiser. Took over from 199 in many markets in 2012, and facelifted Indian version in 2014 called Punto Evo. Spun off Fiat Avventura.
