Final year of 1978 saw Sunshine sedan with 998 cm³ engine and the return of the 1275 cm³ for the LS. Still distinct from other Clubmans: boxy nose but external door hinges and front quarterlight windows. Original round-nose Mini also sold as base Leyland Mini in South Africa. Countryman-based vans were sold during most years.
