From AutocadeSunbeam Rapier. 1967–76 (prod. 46,204 all Arrow fastbacks). 2-door coupé. F/R, 1725 cm³ (I4 OHV). Arrow-based fastback, sharing rear lights and rear valance with Hillman Hunter estate but other panels unique. Same floorpan, which means very conventional: MacPherson struts, coil springs at front; live rear axle with leaf springs at rear. Twin Stromberg 150CD carburettors developing 88 hp, dual overdrive standard. H120 model from October 1968 had spoiler, ROstyles, twin Weber 40 DCOE carbs, 105 bhp. Interior changes for 1969. Production shifted to Linwood that year to make way for Hillman Avenger. One-off convertible used by Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco. Sold as Sunbeam Alpine GT in US. Not as well made as Sunbeams before and suffered as a result in US market.
