Meteor Rideau. 1967–8 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door hardtop fastback coupé. F/R, 240 in³ (I6 OHV), 289, 302, 390, 410, 428 in³ (V8 OHV). Entry level full-size range for the Meteor marque in Canada, with fancier 500 trim sitting above (and with the availability of the coupé). The 302 in³ V8 was added for 1968, when the range was promoted as ‘Meteor by Mercury’. Coupé restyled for 1968 with more of a fastback design.
