By the end of 2009, with the exception of the Lancer Evolution, the only model with the Lancer nameplate after three-and-a-half decades. Wide engine range, including four-wheel-drive option for 1·6. Deleted in 2019, the final use of the Lancer nameplate in Japan, and the last Mitsubishi light commercial there.
