Revision as of 01:32, 9 January 2024Vauxhall Cresta (PC). 1965–72 (prod. 53,912). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 3294 cm³ (I6 OHV). More modern Coke-bottle line and squarer, narrower and longer shape, but similar mechanicals to PB underneath. No more Velox, its position taken by the standard Cresta; de Luxe had quad headlamps. Estates converted by Martin Walter, offered till 1968. Leaf springs at rear, and still with corrosion and quality issues. Good performance with strong torque from the straight six. Vague, unassisted steering, and soft suspension.
