Mercedes-Maybach

After the relative failure of the revived Maybach marque, in 2014, Daimler AG announced that it would become a sub-brand of Mercedes, signifying cars more exclusive than those offered by Mercedes-Benz. The first product was a saloon range based on the Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse, but positioned even further upmarket, with a wheelbase longer than that of the S-Klasse’s long-wheelbase model.
