Buick LeSabre (H-body). 1986–91 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/F, 2965, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV). LeSabre shifts to front drive, joining the larger Electra, though wagons remained on previous rear-drive platform. Related to Pontiac Bonneville (1987–91) and Oldsmobile Delta 88 (1986–8). Between 112 and 117 Grand National models in 1986, all in black; T-type from 1987 to 1989 as performance model. Compliant ride, well built, and highly regarded among large US sedans of the era. Larger 3·8 the better unit; newer 3800 V6 from 1988.
