Fourth-generation Pride, exported as Rio, with three-door consigned to history. Longer, wider and lower, and a longer wheelbase, with a more mature design. Germanic interior, with “floating” infotainment screen appearing out of the dashboard. Connected services available, providing live traffic updates and weather information. Autonomous braking and pedestrian detection its chief safety feature. Débuted at Paris salon. Lighter than UB, aiding performance and economy. Kia Stonic crossover and Kia K2 (UC) on this platform, the Stonic succeeding the Pride in Europe. Korean domestic sales ended 2020.
