The brainchild of Ross Baker, a fibreglass car with a bespoke monocoque and patented stainless steel mesh method of adding strength to panels. Obviously inspired by the Lotus Esprit S1 but originally developed around Škoda 110 parts and 1·6-litre four; financial backers insisted on a Fiat two-litre, leading to compromises in production. Majority have survived.
Marque: Heron
