1974 Wolseley Six.jpg

Wolseley Six (ADO17). 1972–5 (prod. 25,214). 4-door saloon. F/F, 2227 cm³ (I6 OHC). Engine from Australian X6 models in regular Landcrab shell, but Wolseley front end from four-cylinder 18/85, which Six superseded. Sister car to Austin 2200 and Morris 2200. Roomy, appealing to upmarket consumers, though beginning to appear outmoded next to rivals such as the Ford Granada Mk I.

Manufacturing location: Longbridge, West Midlands, England

Marque: Wolseley | Predecessor: Wolseley 18/85 Mk II | Successor: Wolseley (18-22)
