Toyota Avensis (T270). 2008 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1598, 1798, 1987 cm³ petrol, 1998, 2231 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. DOHC). More angular, voluminous and cab-forward design for third-generation Avensis, with high-quality materials inside and build outside; and packed with features such as steering and lane assist, and adaptive cruise control. Unrefined ride on less accommodating roads, but a good motorway cruiser. Still lacking character, but well suited to buyers who could not care less about such matters.
