Talbot Samba
From AutocadeTalbot Samba (C15/T15). 1981–6 (prod. 270,555). 3-door saloon, 2-door convertible. F/F 954, 1124, 1360 cm³ (I4 OHC). Rebodied Peugeot 104, replacing Talbot Sunbeam. Not that advanced considering its basis lay in the early 1970s, and developed to have commonality with parent company Peugeot (even bonnet and tailgate were identical; doors were shared but with different outer skins). Smaller than Ford Fiesta, and designed not to compete with forthcoming Peugeot 205. Last Talbot-badged passenger car.
Marque: Talbot | Predecessor: Talbot Sunbeam | Successor: Citroën AX
