Line 1: Line 1:
Called a wagon, but probably better thought of as a tall hatchback sedan, and a hit for Suzuki, whose buyers were drawn to the boxy looks. Originally asymmetric (one door on driver’s side, two on passengers’), the Wagon R eventually became a full five-door. The first generation spawned a Wide model for export, which evolved into another lineage, while India got a unique Wagon R in 2019 unrelated to the Japanese one. A sporting model, the Stingray, débuted with the fourth Japanese generation.
