F/R, 231 in³ (V6 OHV), 265, 301, 350, 400 in³ petrol, 350 in³ diesel (V8 OHV). Canadian version of the GM full-size B-body, but actually closer to the Chevrolet Caprice (1977–90) than the Pontiac Bonneville (1977–81) sold in the US. Essentially a rebadged Chevrolet, though from 1985, Parisienne gained the US Bonneville’s rear end. When the sedan was cancelled in 1986, the wagon was renamed simply Safari and soldiered on to 1989. Comments for Caprice and Bonneville apply.
Marque: Pontiac | Model: Pontiac Parisienne | Predecessor: Pontiac Parisienne (1971–6) | Successors: Pontiac Safari (1987–9), Pontiac Bonneville (1987–91)
