Revision as of 09:41, 14 March 2023Pontiac Grand Ville. 1971–5 (prod. 290,327 approx.). 4-door hardtop sedan, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 400, 455 in³ (V8 OHV). Plusher Bonneville, as GM found that buyers were choosing to have more luxury. Same long wheelbase as Bonneville, with the addition of convertible. Soft suspension with good ride, though materials were never as premium as the marketing suggested. Wagons were called Grand Safari. Eventually absorbed into the Bonneville range with sales falling after the fuel crisis.
