Plymouth Caravelle (M-body). 1978–89 (prod. 109,012 for 1982–9). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 3678 cm³ (I6 OHV), 5210, 5898 cm³ (V8 OHV). Yet another variation on the Plymouth Volaré et al, offered only in the Canadian market, though an equivalent car was sold in the US as the Plymouth Gran Fury (1982–9). Essentially the Plymouth version of the Dodge Diplomat (1977–89) for Canadian Plymouth dealers. Renamed Caravelle Salon with the début of the FWD E-body Caravalle for 1983.
