1967 Opel Olympia.jpg

Opel Olympia. 1967–70 (prod. 80,637). 2- and 4-door fastback saloon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1078 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1492, 1698, 1879 cm³ (I4 CIH). Opel revives the Olympia name for an upscale version of the Kadett B, bridging the gap between that model and the larger Rekord. Fancier chrome-plated grille and interior, but same sheetmetal as Kadett. Often specified with a vinyl roof which later proved to be a rust trap. Deleted when the Ascona appeared.

Manufacturing location: Bochum, Nordrhein-Westfalen, West Germany

Marque: Opel | Model: Opel Olympia | Successor: Opel Ascona A
