Nissan Stagea (WC34/WGNC34). 1996–2001 (prod. 133,251). 5-door wagon. F/R, F/A, 1998 cm³ (I6 OHC), 1998, 2498, 2568 cm³ (I6 DOHC). First generation of performance wagon, sharing components with Nissan Skyline (R33) and Nissan Laurel (C34), and replacing R31 Skyline and Y30 Cedric wagons. RB straight-six engines installed, including turbocharged models and an Autech 260RS special with 2·6 from Skyline GT-R. Frameless doors, like rival Subaru Legacy (BD). Mid-term facelift 1998. Not exported officially.
