First generation of performance wagon, sharing components with Nissan Skyline (R33) and Nissan Laurel (C34), and replacing R31 Skyline and Y30 Cedric wagons. RB straight-six engines installed, including turbocharged models and an Autech 260RS special with 2·6 from Skyline GT-R. Frameless doors, like rival Subaru Legacy (BD). Mid-term facelift 1998. Not exported officially.
