Nissan Altima (L31). 2002–6 (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan. F/F, 2488 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC), 3498 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Altima continues its sporting focus, with a unique-for-North America model on the FF-L platform (shared with the Nissan Teana (J31)), and more a sister car to the American Maxima flagship. Better handling, but light steering; interior materials left something to be desired. Larger than predecessor. Mid-term facelift for 2005 model year. Not built or offered in Japan.

Manufacturing location: Smyrna, Tennessee, USA

Marque: Nissan | Model: Nissan Altima | Predecessor: Nissan Altima (L30) | Successor: Nissan Altima (L32)
