Monteverdi Sierra. 1977–82 (prod. 20 approx.). 4-door saloon, 2-door convertible, 5-door wagon. F/R, 5210 cm³ (V8 OHV). A surprising change of pace for Peter Monteverdi: rather than develop true successors to the 375 after the first oil crisis, the company created a boutique version of the Plymouth Volaré, with a body designed by Fissore. Luxuriously trimmed, though Volaré roots are clear from the interior. Two convertibles, and wagon is believed to be a one-off. Not the most reliable vehicles, given that the base was not that well built and Monteverdi did not improve on the Volaré’s rusty nature.
Marque: Monteverdi | Predecessor: Monteverdi 375 | Successor: Monteverdi Tiara
