Monteverdi 375. 1967–77 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé, 2-door 2+2 coupé, 4-door sedan, 2-door convertible. F/R, 6974, 7206 cm³ (V8 OHV). Frua-designed supercar from Swiss manufacturer, with bodies by Fissore. The 375 number indicated SAE horsepower output from Chrysler 440 (7·2), 450 bhp in 375S with 426 in³ (7·0) Hemi engine. L designated 2+2, C for convertible; wheelbase stretched for 375/4 limousine (30 built), from 1969. Convertible put on shortened wheelbase for 1975 and renamed Palm Beach Spider (two made). Better performing than anything from Chrysler itself given the lighter bodies, and exceedingly rare.
