Autocade is an international car cyclopædia that’s geographically unbiased, carefully edited for enthusiasts and media who want a quick, accurate reference. There is a greater emphasis on models produced after 1970.

Inside Autocade

Honda Integra (1993–2001)

1994 Acura Integra GS-R.jpg

Honda Integra (DB6/DB7/DB8/DB9/DC1/DC2). 1993–2001 (prod. n/a). 3-door coupé, 4-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1590 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1797, 1834 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Power and equipment boosts for third generation, with different 1·8 units for Japan and US, where the car was still sold as the Acura Integra. Platform shared with EG-series Civic. Characterized by four-headlamp grille, but this was less successful domestically; facelifted to a more conventional nose in 1995 for most models except for SiR-II (deleted 1998).

Manufacturing location: Japan

Marque: Honda | Model: Honda Integra | Predecessor: Honda Integra (1989–93) | Successor: Honda Integra (2001–6)

Dacia Logan II

2013 Dacia Logan.jpg

Dacia Logan (X52/L52). 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 898 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1149 cm³ petrol, 1461 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Renault repeats its earlier formula with second-generation Logan, raiding its parts’ bin and using common components where possible for a no-frills saloon. Quality improved, with more solid-sounding doors, and better panel fit. Base model still very basic with interior materials. More refined overall, with better ride, though still some road noise. Intuitive Media Nav system with seven-inch touch-screen display as standard, while speed limiter, rear parking sensors, cruise control and ABS also feature, and for a very modest price rise at launch. Turbo 0·9, also used in Renault Clio IV, produces 90 hp. Estate, from 2013, dubbed MCV.

Manufacturing locations: Mioveni, Romania; Casablanca, Morocco

Marque: Dacia | Model: Dacia Logan | Predecessor: Dacia Logan I | Successor: Dacia Logan III

Long-wheelbase (2·73 m, an extra 6 cm) version of the Peugeot 3008 (P84), on the EMP2 platform, for the Chinese market. Plenty of room, and plenty of tech, with 12·3 in digital dashboard and eight-inch touchscreen in centre console.

Manufacturing location: Chengdu, Sichuan, China

Marque: Peugeot | Model: Peugeot 4008 | Predecessor: Peugeot 4008 (GA3)
