Autocade is an international car cyclopædia that’s geographically unbiased, carefully edited for enthusiasts and media who want a quick, accurate reference. There is a greater emphasis on models produced after 1970.

Isuzu Bellett Gemini (T-car/PF50). 1974–6 (prod. 768,537 incl. other first-generation Geminis). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1584 cm³ (I4 OHC). Replacement for Bellett was part of GM’s T-platform world-car project, related to Opel Kadett C. Lasted two years with this nameplate, before being renamed Isuzu Gemini. Modern small car, more attractive than comparable Toyotas and Nissans of this era. Twinned with Holden Gemini (TX) in Australia and Saehan Gemini in Korea, and exported to US as Opel Isuzu for 1976 model year; Buick/Opel for 1977–9.

Ford Falcon (XF). 1984–93 (prod. 220,059). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door pick-up. F/R, 3273, 4089 cm³ (I6 OHV). Last facelift for XD-platform passenger cars before arrival of aero-look EA26. New dashboard, five-speed gearbox with most engine options. Limited-edition 25th anniversary model in 1985, 2,000 sold. Sedan and wagon replaced February 1988. Ute and panel van lasted into EA era, replaced March 1993 by XG.

Honda Mobilio (GB1/GB2). 2001–8 (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, F/A, 1496 cm³ (I4 OHC). Boxy, tall compact minivan modelled after a European tram, with huge glass area, built on the Honda Fit (GD) platform. Three rows of seats. Fuel tank sited under the front seat; window in sliding door tilted, rather than slid down. Originally with OHC eight-valve developing 90 PS; later an OHC 16-valve with 110 PS added. Mobilio Almas for wheelchair users, with seating for four.
