MG MGB GT. 1967–72 (prod. 91,207). 3-door coupé. F/R, 1798 cm³ (I4 OHV). Finally, syncromesh on all gears and better spaced ratios for MGB and GT. Minor revisions to look, though in 1969, the newly merged British Leyland put in a recessed black plastic grille, which not all fans liked. ROstyles added in 1969. Later Mk IIs less powerful due to US emission laws, developing 82 bhp; 0–60 mph in 18 seconds.
