Booted version of contemporary compact Lancia Delta (836) on Fiat Tipo floorpan, more up-to-date than Prisma, and marketed as a rival to Audi 80 and lower-end BMW 3er-Reihe. Elegant design from IDEA, with Cd at 0,29. Integrale with turbo and four-wheel drive from 1991. Estate from 1994. Unfortunate name in English-language markets, but not changed.
