Kia Sportage (NQ5). 2021 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV, 5-door LWB SUV. F/F, F/A, 1598 cm³ petrol, 1998 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Fifth-generation Sportage, on shared platform with Hyundai Tucson (NX4). Attractive exterior, a departure from earlier Sportages and a shift upmarket, with futuristic ‘boomerang’ headlights and chrome beltline. Electronically controlled continuous damping to aid handling and stability, but overall a soft ride. Both a 12-inch infotainment screen and a 12-inch instrument cluster inside, and over-the-air software updates.
