Honda Fit (GD). 2001–8 (prod. unknown). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1246, 1339, 1496 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Entry-level Honda in most export markets, beloved of old ladies in some and of youngsters in others. Hatchback exported to some countries as Honda Jazz. Clever, changeable seating, offering greater flexibility than some minivans. Roomy inside, though styling considered odd. Considered one of the best superminis in its time. Booted sedan (from 2002) called Fit Aria, called City in Thailand and some other markets, though retaining the Fit name in Japan and China. Hatchback replaced 2007; Aria continued to 2008.
