Honda Civic (AG/AH/AJ/AK/AT). 1983–7 (prod. n/a). 3- and 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1342, 1488 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1590 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Big stylistic departure from predecessor, now looking razor-sharp and smart for the 1980s. Booted sedan, and tall wagon dubbed Shuttle. Better quality than predecessor, very good handling. Shuttle predated European mini-MPVs by a decade and was particularly practical.
