Holden Statesman (WB). 1980–5 (prod. 59,031). 4-door sedan. F/R, 5042 cm³ (V8 OHV). Last Statesman from 1970s HQ-derived platform, modernized for the 1980s with six-light bodyshell and more formal front end. Very luxurious for its time, with standard cruise control. Last models sold at premium when Holden announced it was its last full-size sedan for the time. HDT model called Magnum; standard models had de Ville and Caprice trim names as with HZ. Holden lion appeared in wreath but not present in lettering on car.
