Fiat Linea.jpg

Fiat Linea. 2007 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1248, 1568 cm³ diesel, 1368, 1747, 1839 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 1368 cm³ (I4 OHC). Booted version of Fiat Grande Punto, initially built by Tofaş, but on a longer wheelbase, bringing Linea’s bulk closer to that of the Ford Focus (C307). Aimed at eastern European, Indian, Brazilian and Russian markets primarily. At launch, the only sedan in the segment in India (versus Honda City (GD) and Maruti SX4) with a diesel. Depending on the engine, not the most brisk, but good fuel economy. Very good handling and ride, as with Grande Punto.
