1974 Dodge Monaco Wagon.jpg

Dodge Monaco. 1974 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door hardtop sedan, 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 360, 400, 440 in³ (V8 OHV). Longer and heavier than the ‘fuselage’ cars, and not that reliable, with poor fuel economy. However, good ride compared with its full-size competitors, and popular among law enforcement buyers in its day. Renamed Royal Monaco the following year when Chrysler rejigged its nameplates in the wake of the fuel crisis.

Manufacturing location: USA

Marque: Dodge | Model: Dodge Monaco | Predecessor: Dodge Monaco (1969–73) | Successor: Dodge Royal Monaco
