Dodge Monaco. 1974–6 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door hardtop sedan, 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 318, 360, 400, 440 in³ (V8 OHV). Longer and heavier than the ‘fuselage’ cars, and not that reliable, with poor fuel economy. However, good ride compared with its full-size competitors, and popular among law enforcement buyers in its day. Royal Monaco denoted the luxury models; by 1977, the only C-body Dodges were Royal Monacos.
