Datsun 210/Datsun W210. 1957–8 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 988 cm³ (4 cyl. OHV). Evolution of 114, and outwardly, mostly identical, but with more advanced OHV engine, developing 37 bhp. C-series engine evolved ideas from the Austin B-series. More expensive to build, so it ran alongside 114, which remained in the Datsun range for the budget-conscious. First Datsun with some export success, and even competition success in Australia in the Mobilgas trial of 1958.
