Most luxurious version of the Jaguar XJ6, now simply called ‘Daimler’, without a model name. Exported as Jaguar Vanden Plas to the US. Rectangular headlights as with Jaguar Sovereign, but with trade-mark Daimler fluted grille. Upgrade to larger engine in 1989.
