Daimler Double Six (XJ81). 1993–4 (prod. 208,733 for all XJ40 and XJ81). 4-door saloon. F/R, 5994 cm³ (V12 OHC). Ultimate development of XJ40, with six-litre V12 finally added to the new shape, necessitating 60 new panels. Most luxurious and powerful of the Jaguar saloons of this period, but short-lived with X305 replacement introduced in 1994.
