Chrysler 383. 1969–73 (prod. 951 sold). 4-door sedan. F/R, 6286 cm³ (V8 OHV). South African edition of the Dodge Monaco (1969–73), taking over from previous-generation Monaco in that market. Chrysler badge made a return after a decade, denoting that this was a cut above other products offered in the RSA. Fewer changes than US model: original resembled the 1969s, with some trim changes in 1971, and larger taillights in 1973. Final eight cars sold in 1974.
