Chevrolet Onix. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, 999, 1389 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Neatly designed small hatchback, replacing the more expensive versions of the Celta, unveiled at the São Paulo motor show, and challenging Volkswagen Gol G5 and Hyundai i20. Gamma II platform, related to Opel Corsa C, itself a development of Corsa B, shared with Chevrolet Cobalt (2012–) and the Spin MPV, and familiar flex-fuel OHC engines already seen in Celta, Agile and Cobalt. Customization with decals, as with Mini and Fiat 500 (2007–), and Bluetooth capability via Chevrolet’s MyLink system, complete with seven-inch screen.
