1998 Chevrolet Lumina.jpg

Chevrolet Lumina (W-body). 1995–2001 (prod. 1,151,888). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3136, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV), 3352 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Rebodied and slightly larger Lumina, with seating for six (at a pinch). No more coupés, as they had been spun off into the Monte Carlo line. Two base V6s, both at 3136 cm³, the latter with minor improvements. Simple, effective interior. Lifeless and light steering, but acceptable ride. Not the most refined, but very popular among American mid-sized vehicles. Final model year for rental fleets only.

Manufacturing location: Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Lumina | Predecessor: Chevrolet Lumina (1990–4) | Successors: Chevrolet Impala (2000–5), Holden Commodore (VT), Buick Regal (1997–2008)
