Up-to-date full-size entry, taking over from dated model in North America, which could trace its roots back 20 years, and the VE Commodore in the Middle East. On Epsilon platform, shared with Opel Insignia, with smart, tense styling by a team led by John Cafaro. Slightly larger than previous Impala. Plush ride, but good body control, though somewhat vague in driver feedback. Very quiet and refined. Interior design, led by Crystal Windham, has a complex, sporting feel. Smaller four is a “mild hybrid”.
Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Impala | Predecessors: Chevrolet Impala (2006–13), Holden Commodore (VE)
