1977 Cadillac Coupé de Ville.jpg

Cadillac Sedan de Ville/Cadillac Coupé de Ville (C-body). 1977–84 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 4128 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4081, 6036, 6966 cm³ petrol, 5737 cm³ diesel (V8 OHV). More sensible size for base Cadillac, with 9 in less in length and wheelbase and 4 in in width, but larger trunk and almost as roomy inside as predecessor. Improved ride—not surprising with half a ton less unspring weight.

Manufacturing locations: Detroit, Michigan, USA; Linden, New Jersey, USA; South Gate, California, USA

Marque: Cadillac | Model: Cadillac de Ville | Predecessor: Cadillac de Ville (1971–6) | Successor: Cadillac de Ville (1985–8)

q.v. Cadillac Fleetwood (1977–86)
