Cadillac ATS. 2013 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door LWB sedan. 2-door coupé. F/R, 1998, 2457 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Cadillac’s answer to the BMW 3er-Reihe (F30), and a more credible package than earlier Opel Vectra C-based BLS. Alpha platform rear-wheel drive this time, with acceptable handling, more so with its Magnetic Ride Control on premium models. V6 the most effortless, while turbocharged 2·0 needs to do a bit more work; entry-level powerplant (sedans only) the 2·5. Interior better screwed together than before, again feeling more upmarket and complete. Styling softer than that of CTS. LWB sedan for Chinese market in mid-2014, coupé débuted soon after but for 2015 US model year.
