Cadillac ATS. 2013–19 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door LWB sedan. 2-door coupé. F/R, 1998, 2457 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Cadillac’s answer to the BMW 3er-Reihe (F30), and a more credible package than earlier Opel Vectra C-based BLS. Alpha platform rear-wheel drive this time, with acceptable handling, more so with its Magnetic Ride Control on premium models. V6 the most effortless, while turbocharged 2·0 needs to do a bit more work; entry-level powerplant (sedans only) the 2·5. Interior better screwed together than before, again feeling more upmarket and complete. LWB sedan for Chinese market in mid-2014, coupé débuted soon after but for 2015 US model year.
