Beijing E-class

Beijing E130/Beijing E150. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1332, 1499 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Beijing Auto took the Mitsubishi Colt (2002–12) platform and two engines and created a Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse (T245) clone, originally previewed as C301. Mercedes-Benz had partnered with Beijing on other ventures; it was a surprise the car was not subject to a lawsuit. BAIC even mentioned the similarity on its website in 2010. Four-door sedan (C302) shown at Auto Shanghai in 2011. Launch in October 2012.
